We
have established dairy and poultry units, grow green vegetables, fodder, maize, bananas and trees on a 2 acres land.
In order to remain economically viable, we must be able to earn a decent living from our farming operations
to support our families and contribute to the rural economy. From purchasing equipment to direct marketing, our family plays
a major role in contributing to rural communities’ economic viability.
Our family farm is not defined by size, but rather by the fact that our family provides the vast majority
of the labor and management decisions. The main goal of our family farm is farm sustainability—both economically and
environmentally. Our family takes the risks, makes the decisions and receives the economic gains.
