Pray for Bishop Margaret Wanjiru's Ministry

Pastor Mwaniki wrote this note to the Editor of Nation Newspapers hoping that a man of God will be prompted by the Holy spirit to guide Bishop Wanjiru on how to deal with the situation.
Wanjiru needs our prayers

Publication Date: 1/21/2007
When I see reports in the media about Bishop Margaret Wanjiru’s marriage to a South African and claims by a man who says he is her former husband that he is the father of her two children, I’m reminded of a former TV evangelist in the name of Jim Baker. It was as if Baker had no reliable Christian friends to turn to before the incident occurred. His story is that he was concerned that his wife was spending too much time with another man.  He poured out his heart to a minister in Florida who suggested an affair with another woman in order to make Tammy jealous and come back. Are Christian media figures so isolated that this is the best kind of friend that they can come up with? Does Bishop Wanjiru have any friends who can advise her on what to do?  Why can’t the Kenyan Christian community talk to Wanjiru so that we can care for all the members at Jesus Is Alive Ministries?  What has happened is a tragedy both for Wanjiru and for the Christian community at her ministry and to the Christian community in Kenya as a whole. She and her two boys as well as the whole Jesus Is Alive Ministry need our prayers.

KINYUA MWANIKI,

United States.

Dear Pst Mwaniki
Thanks for your concern.  I hope you have been praying for me.  God has been very gracious to us concerning the political victory in Starehe.  We have registered a very high number of new voters.  Our oponents are not amused and they are looking for ways and means to exert what we call mental pressure.
They chose a time when I had Just announced my wedding and have spent a lot of money paying a lot of people to make false claims against me and the church.  After finishing with me they turned the battle to other evangelical churches please pray for the evangelical churches.
God bless you
Bishop Dr Margaret Wanjiru
